Q: Do you only draw dogs?
No, I draw all animals. As you can see on my site I have also draw cats for customers. I have experience drawing a wide variety of animals, and I am always interested in drawing new and unique pets.
Q: How many pictures should I submit for the portrait?
You can submit as many photos as you want, and I will pick the best one, or use a combination of several of the submitted photos.
Q: If I mail my photographs to you will I get my photographs back?
If you submit the photos via “snail mail” I will take excellent care of them, and send them back to you with the portrait.
Q: What type of material do you use to draw the portrait on?
I do not use canvas, so that I can save you money. The type of paper I use varies depending on the portrait. Meaning, I use different colors and textures depending on the size and type of the drawing. However, the paper is always acid-free and of a very heavy stock which will last indefinitely.
Q: Can I have multiple animals in one drawing?
The answer to this is rather complex. The short answer is yes, you can have multiple subjects in one portrait. However, the number of animals in a portrait is determined upon the size of the portrait you request.
An 8x10 portrait is the only size that I do not draw multiple animals. It is just too small an area to create two or more distinct subjects.
An 11x14 portrait can have up to three animals depicted.
12x16 and 20x24 portrait sizes can have up to five animals depicted.
