Unique and original portraits--
I have had training in the art field all the way back to Advanced Placement art classes in high school. Today I draw more for fun than as a career. As such I choose to generally draw in only certain mediums. I prefer to use Charcoal primarily. However, as I explain throughout the site, I am willing to alter that preference if you have a specific idea in mind.
If you choose to order a portrait from me the procedure you need to follow is very simple. I will create a work of art based on one or more photographs of your pet and any suggestions or requests you may have regarding background and/or style. I can receive the photographs as email attachments or via snail mail. I always return the photographs after the portrait has ben completed.
In order to begin I will need you to fill out the contract that is downloadable from my Order a Portrait page. It is very simple and straight forward. I have it so I know exactly what type of portrait you want; and so you obtain the exact type of portrait you have commissioned. Then once I receive the photos, contract, and the deposit (which is explained in the contract) I draw the portrait. Once I have completed the portrait (I take three weeks to complete the portrait) I take a picture of the portrait and email it to you. If you are satisfied you send me the balance and I send you the portrait.
